Summer is leaving, but this does not mean at all that you need to part with a beautiful skin color.
So you want your skin to remain dark as long as possible after the vacation! You can prolong the life of your tan with the right care, nutrition and secret makeup techniques. Find out which ones!
The pigment melanin is responsible for the dark skin tone. It is produced by exposure to sunlight. However, food also affects the intensity of melanin production.
For example, the production of melanin is stimulated by the amino acids tyrosine and tryptophan, as well as beta-carotene (it also protects the skin from burns and helps fight free radicals).
Therefore, it makes sense to include a "tanning diet" in your diet. Eat protein foods (meat, eggs, nuts, cheeses), bananas, as well as yellow and red vegetables and fruits: carrots, tomatoes, pumpkin, bell peppers, peaches, apricots, melons.
Skin: special care
The velvet season is the best time to get a perfect tan: gentle, beautiful and long-lasting. Your tan will stay even smoother and last even longer if you do a thorough exfoliation of your face and body a few days before your trip to the resort.
Many resorts in Turkey (by the way, September is considered the "golden" time for relaxation here) and other hot countries offer foam massage with a hard mitten kese. It makes sense to go through this procedure immediately after arrival. But not at the end of the rest: the peeling will make the dark skin paler, and the burnt skin is simply injured.
Tanning's best friend is cosmetic oil. Pay attention to coconut, jojoba, peach seeds. Apply the oil in a thin layer to damp skin.
And another important nuance is sunscreens. As we know, when the sun is active, the protection should be renewed every 2-3 hours. However, residues of sunscreen can mix with sweat and clog pores, causing inflammation. Therefore, before each renewal of the protective cream, wipe the skin with micellar water.
Correct shade of varnish
A well-chosen color of nail polish can accentuate your tan.
Option number 1 - pastel shades. The color can be any, but the main thing is that the varnish is lighter than the skin: then it will look darker and more radiant.
Option number 2 - bright neon varnishes, relevant this season. Coral, scarlet, ultramarine, lemon - experiment!
Sea water itself has a beneficial effect on our appearance: minerals and trace elements heal the skin, strengthen the hair. Problems start when we go ashore. Water drops act like a magnifying glass, attracting the sun's rays and amplifying their effect many times over. As a result, the skin and hair become very dry.
- Output: either collect curls in a high bun so that they do not get wet; or rinse them immediately with fresh water and let them dry in the shade.
Apply a nourishing hair oil all over your hair before heading out to the beach. When heated in the sun, the oil will work, firstly, as a mask, and secondly, as a protective shield. And the hair after the vacation will remain silky!
After the vacation, give up for a while from hot styling and aggressive products such as varnishes and gels. Use foams, mousses, oils for styling - they do not weigh down or dry your hair.
Sunburned skin takes on a warm tone. This means that the makeup should also be done in warm colors. The tan is accentuated by peach blush, golden and creamy shadows.
Use "decorative" with shimmers, as well as bronzing powders for the face and body, coral lipstick. But absolutely cold colors can look inappropriate and vulgar.
- Tanning myths:
If I put on a cream with SPF, then I will not burn. Even a product with the highest degree of protection is not capable of 100% blocking ultraviolet light. It is better to be in the shade at noon.
Dark skin does not burn. Burns out, albeit slower. Prolonged sunbathing can lead to hyperpigmentation of dark skin.
UV protection should be applied at the beach. It is better to do this in half an hour: the cream will have time to adapt to the skin and more fully show its protective properties.
