As part of the all-Ukrainian festive events for Independence Day, the brand's team, led by designer Andre Tan, draws public attention to children with special needs: Down syndrome, the spectrum of autism, speech delay and children with disabilities. Families with children with special needs require support from the state and society. Not delay, but proper attitude towards oneself, attention and material assistance.
Today, together with my team, I want to support children with special needs: autism spectrum, Down syndrome and mental disorders, to draw public attention to the special talent of these children. Our main message is the importance of accepting people with disabilities in society. This is not about pity or sympathy, but about understanding their needs and characteristics, equality, accessibility in education, work, freedom of movement, leisure

ANDRE TAN has launched a social initiative to help children with disabilities. The company, a trendsetter in Ukraine, has supported the Lviv public organization - "Solar Workshop", where children with special needs draw, and hopes that fashion to help children will become a timeless trend. A unique technique of art therapy, by the way, is recognized in England and the USA - the main tool of the founders of the workshop. Olga Sanikovich, an artist by profession and psychologist Olga Germanovich, save and alleviate the emotional state of children with her professional attention to them.
The designer Andre Tan examined the drawings of the students of the workshop and transferred them to the clothes of the Andre Tan brand - T-shirts and hoodies. This capsule collection is already on sale. The money from the sale of clothing will be donated to the "Solar Workshop" for the purchase of paper, paints, canvases, brushes, and for the rent of a larger room to help more children with special needs.
I want us not to ignore the problem, not to leave families where children with special needs are unattended, alone, but to lend a helping hand and pay attention to this issue.
