Limited use: bananas, cheese, potatoes, beets, white rice, pasta and durum wheat pasta, dried fruits, honey.
Forbidden: sugar, baked goods made from premium flour, carbonated drinks.
Alcohol is best avoided during the diet, but dry white wine is allowed at the high-carb stage.
