Actor Hugh Jackman turned out to be a hero not only on the screen, but also in life: he saved several people who were nearly carried away during a storm on Bondi Beach in Sydney.
Last Saturday Hugh Jackman and his family were vacationing on Bondi Beach in Sydney (Australia). Suddenly, a storm began on the coast and several people, among whom was the 15-year-old son of the popular actor Oscar, began to be carried by the current into the open ocean.

Seeing something was wrong, Hugh Jackman quickly reacted to the situation and, ahead of the rescuers, began to pull people out of the water. First, the actor rescued an unfamiliar girl, and then helped the man get to the shore. After that, he helped his son get out of the water.

According to eyewitnesses, the star of the film "Wolverine" did not panic and acted very intelligently.
- When we went into the water 20 minutes before, there was no sign of danger. And then suddenly huge waves rose. Hugh calmly helped people and took them ashore, according to the journalists of the Guardian portal.
A video showing the end of the rescue operation has appeared on the Internet:
